Planning for Dementia
Tim Nay, JD will present "Planning for Dementia." The Alzheimer’s Association estimates that over 5.8 million Americans and over 65,000 Oregonians currently live with AD, increasing to 84,000 by 2025. One in ten persons over age 65 and half of those over 85 have AD. AD is the 6th leading cause of death, and the most expensive disease condition, exceeding the annual cost of cancer and cardiac care, combined. People with dementia will be seen increasingly by attorneys, accountants, financial planners, insurance professionals and other professional service providers. Join attorney/clinical social worker Tim Nay in an interesting and useful presentation to understand and better serve individuals, couples and families challenged by AD and other dementias.
